“Team culture is extremely important here at Bullseye Event Marketing,” stated Callie, our firm’s Director of Operations. “Our brand managers get together for weekly team nights to bond and build relationships outside the office. While at work, our people are incredibly supportive and always willing to help one another meet aggressive goals.”
One of the main reasons to engage in team-building activities is the positive impact they have on collaboration. Callie remarked, “After our group outings, our team members better understand and appreciate each other’s strengths and weaknesses. They also discover common interests they may not have known about before. All of these outcomes lead to stronger teamwork on key projects back at our Bullseye Event Marketing office.”
Team gatherings are also just plain fun, especially when we engage in friendly competition. “We bring out the best in each other when we compete for office bragging rights,” Callie added. “This is one of the best ways for us to find hidden talents and traits that might not be seen during the normal course of work.”
Our team events also give us chances to reflect on what’s going well at work. Having different perspectives is important when we adjust processes. We often discuss where we need to make improvements when we get together away from the office.
These are just a few reasons we organize so many different team outings. Check out the Bullseye Event Marketing Newswire for more on our approach to maintaining a strong work culture.
